web site downtime reporting - 1/17/2004 12:16:09
Hello.............. My web site is a small ecommerce (candy making & cake decorating) business which has been growing. I find server outages can be expensive (due to lost orders), and always undetected until someone either lets me know & I find it. Could anyone recommend a good site monitoring service? There seem to be quite a few out there, and a recommendation from a user is worth all the paid advertisements in the world. Internet Seer seems to be popular........$80/month for checking every 20 min. seems high..... Anu suggestions are appreciated! Joe Hussar candywebster@aol.com www.candylandcrafts.com

Hi, Joe - InterSeer also has free and low cost reporting that might give you enough of what you need. If you've been having problems with downtime that your host hasn't been able to resolve I would definitely be looking for new hosting. Linda
