Ikonboard is a nice forum and this looks and functions fine as I would expect. However I think you need to work a but with the template, to make it look more like the rest of your site perhaps. On entering the forum the left navigation is lost and the actually forum is a bit wide for my liking, retaining the lsft nav would help to narrow it and also give you space to add stuff - notices, ads, news, whatever, there.
You can do this farily readily by editing the template from the admin area.
I would also jsut comment on the number of forums you have created. Getting new forums off the ground is a difficult task. People are reluctant to post in a forum that does not look busy, You need to slowly build up a loyal clientele who return because they aare getting somethign useful. With time some of these people may be willing to act as moderators.
Starting with so many forums means that whatever questions you do get will look scattered and sparse. If you start with one or two they will be concentrated in one place and look way better. You can always add additonal forums as the need becomes evident. You need to let your users create the demand rather than expecting that they will post in cateogries that you think they might just because they are there.
I believe Outfront started with just one. And even though this site enjoys pretty substantial traffic and has many thousands of registered users, new forum ideas are always risky and several have failed to generate sufficient interest and have been discontinued.
