Cannot Publish......... - 2/20/2001 20:23:00
I need any help or suggestions anyone can give me. I have not been able to publish since Feb. 5th and our ISP who hosts our site can't seem to figure out why. I am trying to publish just as I have successfully for the past 3 years. At first I was getting the error message: "Server has timed out ... did not complete successfully" They uninstalled FP extensions and reinstalled them. Now I am getting: "server error: INI File Port 80 not found" They have no idea why it will not work. Do you have any suggestions of what it could be, so that I can tell them???? HELP!!Thanks

Try signing up with a free site that offers FP server extensions and see if the problem continues. If it does then you know it is within your machine. if it does not then likely it is with the host.------------------ Life Is Grand! This means there is a permissions problem on the server side. when they reinstalled the extensions they probably didn't take a look and the permissions to allow you to publish. ------------------ storm... I had this problem, The provider tried everything but to no avail. Then I made some changes on my system and it worked. Go into Network neighborhood and change the default login from MS Family login to Client for MS Network. now remove Family login and restart your system. You should be able to login in when you restart I assume you are using win98------------------
