Backed up on CD.... - 2/27/2001 20:11:00
Well, I enhanced my system this past weekend and copied all of my sites to a CD. I have now copied them back to my HD but get the following error message when trying to open any: Server Error: Cannot open file C:\blahblahblah\_vti_pvt\service.lck for writing.

Question 1. What would have been the proper way to save my sites to CD other than drag & drop?

Question 2. How can I repair the damage and be able to once again open them locally?

BTW - I jumped up from 200 Mhz to 750 and 64MB PC-100 to 256 MB PC-133. How SWEET IT IS!

In windoze explorer -> right click -> uncheck "Read Only"
