frankbiganski -> turn off vti_cnf feature (2/2/2004 13:33:54) I recently had to debug and reboot my computer. After I reinstalled FP 2000, I now get those vti_cnf folders appearing. Years ago and on some other forum, an expert told me how to prevent these files from being created (because I don't use or need them). I've used FP for years without these vti_cnf folders being created, and it's now driving me nuts! Does anyone know how to turn this feature off? Thanks, Frank

Swirl -> RE: turn off vti_cnf feature (2/2/2004 15:35:13) Welcome to OutFront Frank, Are you sure the feature was "turned off", or were the folders just "hidden". You can hide any folder that as an _ (underscore) in front of the file name by going to tools/websettigs/advanced and remove the check from the "show documents in hidden folders checkbox.
