what I need and what I don't need - 3/8/2001 20:45:00
EXAMPLE: A customer fills a form out, like for a shirt, color, size and what name they want on the shirt. I could even calculate their totals up on the page - then they go to pay - say to PayPal. Then PayPal would be on a secure server, so I wouldn't have to have my order forms on a secure server? Then the forms are e-mailed to the web site owner, who can fulfill the order? Does anyone know (at least it looks like to me) that some of these merchant accounts (PayPAl or ccnow) let you only order one thing at a time - what if you want to go back and order more than one item? Somewhere I read that you don't need a shopping cart with ccnow?

Your order form would be Paypla's order form, and it would sit on their server. The cart is on yours, and the checkout is on theirs. Talk to the people at ccnow, I wouldn't recommend PayPal for what you're trying to do. --Bri ------------------ "Democrat born and democrat bred, and when I die I'll be democrat dead!" ------------------- Work, work, work: http://www.appercept.co.uk Out of office hours: http://www.darlingbri.co.uk
