authentication scheme is ntlm - 3/9/2001 20:11:00
I am maintaining my site by accessing the host's server (instead of publishing). I am running W98 with FP2000. Connecting via LAN with proxy server. This configuration has not changed and I have had no problems in the past.
When I tried to edit yesterday, I suddenly get the following error message:
The server couldn't log you on, because its only authentication scheme is NTLM and you are connecting to it via a proxy server. Try adding the server to the Exceptions box in the Tools/Options/Proxy Settings/Advanced dialog, or request the server administrator to enable another authentication scheme.
I have checked the settings and they are as recommended.

If you changed nothing, then your host did - talk to them.--Bri ------------------
