Raptor Firewall Issue - 3/10/2001 20:05:00
Hi gang. I am SO SO glad I have found this site. I promise to help anyone I can in the future. But right now I am in need.

Here is the case scenario. I have a server which I administer. I have a user who is trying to publish content to her site. She has a dial up connection therefore she can not work on the site live so she has to publish. She also has a firewall installed named ZoneAlert.

When she tries to publish to a new directory she gets an error message stating "The Front PAage server extensions may be corrupt". I found this at Microsoft regarding the issue and it does in fact fix the problem.

But it has to be done EVERY time that a new web is created. The article also states to install SR1 to permanently fix it. She did and it has not fixed the problem. We still need to perform this fix every time.

The article also states the issue happens with a Raptor firewall. But she turns it off and it stil happens.

No one else can recreate the problem which makes it more frustrating. Has anyone has this problem before? Do you know how I can fix it for her?

A lot of info I know but looking for any suggestions.
