Error publishing .gif file - 3/14/2001 20:26:00
I am trying to publish my WEB with a new .GIF file. At the end of the publishing event I get the following error message: "Microsoft Frontpage server error: The page images/htdh2001-winmove.gif has been modified by usr236170 on 11 march 2001 00:56:49-0500" When I press OK, Frontpage returns me to the "Publish Web" screen. When I go to the actual WEB site utilizing FILE-Edit with Microsoft FrontPage the GIF file is not there, but everything else I published is there. The only thing new I am doing is quite a bit of custom HTML nested between <!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan --> and <!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan --> I have uninstalled/reinstalled the FP Server Extensions and it makes no difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat

I would try renaming the gif file using the underscore (_) between names instead of the dash (-) and see if that helps.------------------ Life Is Grand! Gene White WebTeky Full Service Web Development http://www.webteky.com/ http://www.webteky.net

If all you're trying to do is put in a new gif file, do it through "Import". Then, make sure your syntax is correct for the "img=" code.Phil ------------------ "If God is not a Tar Heel, then why are hyperlinks default-colored Carolina blue?" http://www.1awebhosting.com 1A Web Hosting for Frontpage.
