Publish between webs - 3/21/2001 20:33:00
I have direct access to a IIS5 server with server ext. installed. Instead of working on my local disk and then publish the changes i want to work directly on the server. There are though some things that need a amount of testing, therefore I have arranged for a "testweb" on the server. So i publish my public web to the test web, make the changes and then i want to publish the web back to the public one... BUT then i get the server error : 'Cannot rename 00000002.ps1'!!

What does this file do? Do you recommend working directly on the server? What is _vti_cnf?

PLEASE help me.....!!!!!
