Problem is that when I publish the WEB somewhere along the way the files are being write protected. I cant find where on my machine and my host cant find a problem their end either. Also some files are being renamed *.bak

"Files" are being write protected? Usually the folder is write-protected. However, sounds like a permissions issue, but your host should have thought of that first thing. If not, you need a new NT host. If so, it's still a hosting thing. Your host needs to research the issue and fix it.
