Database is Undefined Error - 2/11/2004 19:54:03
Hi All.

After reading much about it on these forums, I deceided to post. I am having a problem displaying my results page when I set up a database through Frontpage. I know this is a common problem and have read and tried a lot to solve it.

I am getting the database is undefined error. I tried the test file that Spooky posted in one of his other threads and it said that my global.asa file was fine.

I am running XP Pro with IIS. What could the other errors be? Am I not posting it correctly. I have been creating the page in Frontpage, saving to my C:/MyDocuments/MyWeb, then when I was finished, I was simply copying it into C:/Innetpub/wwwroot

I have checked and I am allowing scripts and have also verified the database in frontpage (but I did that before I "published" it.

Any/All help is apprecited.

Thanks

Frank

Hi and welcome :)

Have you tried editing the file live by opening your web as http://127.0.0.1 ?
ie - open the local server and ensure the database connection is correct

FP > tools > web settings > database > verify

If you arent part of the solution, then there is good money to be made prolonging the problem
