FrontPage98 on Windows 2000 - 4/4/2001 15:02:00
Can FrontPage98 be used with Windows 2000? If so, where do you find The Personal Web Server so you can take care of the socket port 80 error that comes up? I like FrontPage 98 because of the ease of use, however mainly because of the integration with Image Composer. Hopefully someone can help me out. Craig Glaesner DDS

When you say Windows2000 I assume Win2000 Professional? It doesn't run PWS it uses IIS5, which needs to be installed from the Win2K disc.------------------ Gil Harvey The Host Factory Resellers are our speciality "Is there another word for synonym?"

It's none of my business, of course, but I think you're missing the boat by continuing to use FP 98. FP2000 is such a major improvement, you are missing a lot.Image Composer intergration? You mean nothing more than being able to click on an icon within FP means that much to you? Image Compposer is a good program, but it's a stand alone product, and when you install FP2000, Image Composer will still work beautifully! Just my opinion...
