As for the matter at hand, the page I'm working with is one I've...er...borrowed some code from. I really like how they've completely managed to separate style from content and I actually am trying to learn from it. One of the things they do is have a master container on the page. (I've read that this technique can compensate for some cross-browser glitches.) Of course, now that I've looked at the code again, I realized that the body is exactly where they put the background image.
