Server folder issue - 4/12/2001 19:09:00
I am currently publishing a web that has the main purpose of information sharing on an extranet. To the end I am trying to make the loading of documents as easy as possible. Rather than make an index in each directory, I want to just plug the documents in each folder, and bring up the folder in the browser.
DIRECTORY(Folder)
Document.doc
Spredsheet.xls
an so on.
When the site is local, or on a file server, it works just fine, but when I publish it to IIS I get the dreaded 403 error, ... not authorized. Is there a way around this?
just trying to save some future sole some time.
Thanks
Dave
