Server Extensions with Host Headers - 4/19/2001 22:40:00
My problem is is very similar several other recent posts. I have one server running IIS 5.0 with one IP address. I am using host headers and currently have 6 web sites online. My default web site is not a FrontPage web but 3 of my other ones are. I need to install the FP extensions for those 3 only. When I try to install I get the error "The document root of the web server where you are trying to install the server extensions already contains a disk-based web." I would appreciate any advice regarding this.

Success! After playing around with this for a while and another search through the MS Knowledge base I found the problem. KB Article Q264920 explains the fix for this. Don't know why I didn't find this the first several times I looked in the KB.
