FP setup on a Windows 2000 Server - 4/25/2001 20:01:00
I am trying to setup FP on a windows 2000 server. I have the extensions installed and can publish but counter and search functions do not work. What have I not setup on the server?? Is there a book on setting up FP on the server I could buy or a website that walks one through the process. I would like it to be a multi domain server. Any help would be great!)

you don't set up fp on the server, just the server extensions. after the extensions are installed at the root level then they need to be configured, have you done this part yet?------------------ storm... All I have done is setup the website with IIS and then clicked on install fp extentions on the server side for that website. I then published from FP on my ME machine. When I origanlly setup the 2000 server it ask if I wanted to install fp extentions and I said yes but have done nothing else on the server.

ok good start. now open iis, right click on the site and under tasks you should have the option "configure server extensions" if you havn't done it then choose it and follow the wizard through the process.
