Search Page - 5/4/2001 14:35:00
I am running an Intranet server at work. I am having problems getting the search page to work. It will do a search fine on the server but when I try to get it to search a shared network drive no luck. Any ideas?------------------ Chris Rich Operations Analyst

Set the Network drive up as a "virtual folder" within IIS and it will be available to search.

If it's internal you might want to setup Index Server. if you already have index server installed on the box then FrontPage server extensions is going to use that by default so you'll have to setup the catalog. You can find info on this at www.microsoft.com/technet in the search box.------------------ Applied Innovations http://www.appliedi.net/ FrontPage Web Hosting
