CSS and Rounded Corners On Borders - 2/24/2004 3:46:31
Just to let you all know it can be done, (and here is the almighty word), but, it only works with Mozilla Browsers, aren't they the lucky buggers? Ok enough waffle, here's the code: It will work on any element within the HTML document, and works with both pixels and percents: -moz-border-radius: value; Obviously don't put value, but the percent or pixels of the radius you would like. Plain old border-radius won't work, I tried it. With regards to the value. When using percents, you really shouldn't go any higher that 50% as this will create a full circle (isn't that gooooood). I personally like 1% as this just cuts of the "sharp" corners. With the pixels, it lets you be a bit more precise. And how did I find that out, I was messing about with one of my older web-pages last night, entering random CSS functions etc, don't ask me how I came to that one Have Fun With It Dan

Ummm, son, you can get rounded corners to work in IE as well, Here is a link that I had posted in here a while back somewhere. You will find a browser chart as well as how to do this. Pretty cool though that you also found a way to get this to work while messing around with code and styles.

Yeah, but that one requires images, if you use my one in Firefox, it doesn't need the images, it curves the corners for you without them. I haven't messed about enough to get one for IE yet, and I don't know if it validates, yet. I'll keep looking though.

who is freddie mercury? Leader singer, rock band named "Queen". Died a few years ago. If you've ever been to a sporting event where fans chanted "Weeeee, are the Champions, by friiiiiiieeeeend", then you've heard their work. Or, if you have a taste for the finer things in life and have seen the movie "Wayne's World" (and who hasn't), you've heard their work. The song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was featured in that movie. Watch for the long-hairs bouncing their heads up and down in the AMC Pacer. You can't miss it.

There are several of us runing around here on earth, some incognito as high panjandurum's, gorillas, spiders dressed with wings, BUT we sort of blend right into your society
