HELP!!!!

I have published changes to my site several times today successfully, but this evening I keep getting the message...

" The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet service provider or web server administrator to make sure that the server has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. For more specific information, click Details. " which say:
403 Forbidden
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc on this server.

I called my ISP who says extensions are installed and working... the I need to call Microsoft :-(

dot, Actually I don't think you need to call Microsoft. Call your host and ask them to run the extensions 'check and fix tool' this may help but I doubt it.

If this doesn't cut it. You may want to ask them to do a full uninstall of the FP extensions and then a full install. But you're going to lose all your shared borders etc so make sure you have an offline (and recent!) backup.

It sounds like what has happened is just what the error message says.. you don't have permissions to access a component called during the publishing process. At first thought this may be a file under your web but more likely it's a virtual directory back to a folder elsewhere on the server.
