FrontPage Server Extensions and Windows ME - 5/10/2001 19:52:00
I just bought a new PC with Windows Me on it. I installed FrontPage and PWS on it. I tried to install FrontPage Server Extensions and it won't let me - it says that I need MS Windows NT Service Pack 6a. Anyone know what this is all about? Will downloading it be OK since I have Me? I didn't have this problem before with my other computer ('98). Slightly confused here, please help.

Microsoft doesn't support PWS on ME. I've heard others say they have it installed with no problems, but I suggest upgrading to Win2K Professional and doing your testing in IIS5------------------

Which version PWS?
You should be trying the latest version 4 and not the original FP version.
Version 4 is paert of the NT option pack for 95 or on the Win 98 cd too------------------
