kjr4 Posts: 2 Joined: 2/26/2004 Status: offline	Web Publishing Wizard 1.6 - 2/26/2004 9:41:04 I am having a problem publishing my web site with the web publishing wizard that was bundled in windows 98. We recently upgraded from 98 to XP and from a dial up to DSL. I reinstalled the web publishing wizard and now it does not seem to work. It does work on our own server to upoad my homepage, but not on the server that hosts our website. I also notice on our web site server they have upgraded my front page extensions to front page 2002 ( tec support says everything is fine on their end). Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ask your ISP what the server logs are reporting.

Do you get any error messages when you publish?

I think the 2002 extensions went to sharepointy type publishing, and may have stopped support for the Web Publishing Wizard. Someone please correct me, I could be wrong,

I am not that "techie" but after reading your response I went looking for info on the web. I think you have probably uncovered the problem, which is sort of what I suspected, that the 1997 Web Pub. Wizard has been left in the dust. Well I have finally decided after going to all the expense to upgrade, to just bite the bullet, buy the FP 2003 program and use that to maintain my site. No sense trying to swim upstream if I don't have too! Maybe I'll just hang on to the little wizard program for a while, it was dear to my heart and someday it might be worth something on Ebay hahaha.
