RamTech -> FP 2k Counter not working (red X) (5/16/2001 23:29:00)

I am the administrator of an NT4 SP6a server on which I am trying to get Frontpage 2000 extensions working correctly for our customers.

I have the extensions installed (I assume correctly), and the forms work fine.. Everything works fine except for the counter. It shows up as a red x image (no image to display type).

I have tried deleting the counter and adding a new one, then publishing to no avail. Extensions were reinstalled.. still nothing.
Deleted the website, redid it.. nothing.

All I have is fpcount.exe in the _Vti_bin virtual directory (pertaining to the counter anyway).. is there an .ini file or something I need?

Anyone have any suggestions?

You can view the test site at http://frontpage.saberstar.com

Thx for your time...

John

Thx, but my counter doesn't even show up as a 1.. it is just a red x (broken image)...

The directions given will still fix your problem in some circumstances. That's why I suggested it

I can't remember about FP counters, because we don't use them. But, they do come with a default set of graphics, yes? Have you checked yours are actually on the server?

Meaning, this isn't something as simple as a broken image link, is it?

You might also want to try to load the page and then look at the event viewer to see what the problem is. Frontpage should issue an error message there and this will help you debug the problem.
