Convert Subweb to Web - 5/22/2001 23:44:00
Hi,
Does anyone know how to convert a subweb to its own web on a virtual server?

All comments would be appreciated!

Right-click and choose "convert to folder" in the parent or root web.

Cicero,

Do you mean convert it over to the root web on a new virtual server? Create the new virtual server and install FPSE on it. Then open the subweb and click the publish button, and for location put the new virtual server.

Done in no time..

Yes, I meant convert a sub-web to its own web on a virtual server. So, we moved it to vhosts/<new folder name>, had the new url point to the index page in that folder, and installed the server extensions in the new location, too.

You were right...it was lickity split!
