Multi-users Authoring - 5/25/2001 16:28:00
Hi, is my first time here, and your site looks great. I have a question. I'm using windows millenium, but I run a web site in which I want to ad multi users remote authoring, how can I do this, to have other webmaster helping me with my site. I'm in a server that supports FP extensions

There's nothing to it, really. You just give everyone a username and password, or share one depending on your server setup. Everyone needs a copy of FP.That's pretty much it. --Bri ------------------ "Bother," said Pooh, as Piglet was assimilated by the Borg. ------------------- Work, work, work: http://www.appercept.co.uk Out of office hours: http://www.darlingbri.co.uk

Bri, I don't know if the questioner got anything from that reply, but it's a bit too simplistic for me. I'm sure it's simple to you but can you try to explain in a little more depth.

Hi Scott,I'm not sure what more Bri could have said. On your server add users -> give them logons & passwords. Now they can access any web sites they are allowed and publish back to the server. What else would you like to know? ------------------ Gil Harvey The Host Factory Resellers are our speciality "Is there another word for synonym?"
