Hello Everyone,

Please give me some Ideas or Input for the home page to make it more inviting.

For me the homepage is a bit on the "quiet" side. Add more content, fill in the right hand side, even if it is just ads. Color scheme also seems a bit dull to me, a brighter shade of blue wouldn't go a miss, but thats just me

Dan

I would put some stock photos at the bottom, perhaps - of people either reading a letter or typing on their computer . I like your layout as it is, but there we're going into personal preference. I don't like a cluttered web page myself. Though you could put a third column in with some quotes either about your product or about letter writing, etc. or some testimonials (I know you probably don't have any yet, but you could put them in there later)

in my opinion it looks a lot better; more enticing.

To further build on what dave has designed, perhaps add more of your "main characters" to the top banner, across the banner width. Maybe a Santa Claus holding a pen/quill, and an Easter Bunny signing an egg, and the tooth fairy holding a pen and a leprechaun holding a pen (for the St. Patrick's Day card that you'll add), etc....

Then move the fanned out letter images down, maybe behind your opening text headline.

Then I'd get the concept visually and immediately when your page opened.

Here's a "very rough draft" of what I meant in the last post, building on dave's banner.
I wouldn't use these, but rather make your characters all in the same style of your birthday clown, because that one is good. (My leprechaun looks like he's smoking a cigar, not writing something)

But hopefully this will give you some idea to enhance your web site, awhile I get to continue my relentless pursuit of graphic software mastery.
