I stumbled across this today and wondered if anyone had used it before.

Nope, never tried it, never heard of it but it looks interesting.

I visited the home page of the software and found this:

http://www.blumentals.net/htmlpad/

I don't get it...it's the same price as "just" the CSS editor....

It might be worth the free trial to see how it is. But the header line "The Best HTML Editor in the World" really convinced me.:) LOL

Haven't run across that one - What are you trying to do? There's some great freeby tools out there - I've posted endlessly about some of them. But it depends on what you want to do - a little more info - and with luck you'll get a worhwhile reply. :)

Hi Folks,
Rapid CSS is almost identical to TopStyle Pro 3. I have been using this program for some time and find it a god send.

I think because I'm so new to CSS, anything i can use to help me out will greatly help. I'm not particular about the app, just that it can help me learn. It's so easy and comfortable to go back to tables, i'm just trying to keep myself from doing that.
I'll check for some of those posts Gorilla and see what you had to say, thanks.
I've seen TopStyle (i think i even downloaded it once), but never used it.

Lil

yeah top style pro is excellent! you can edit html and xhtml in it as well, and it has a reference section - click on a property and it will open up an explanation from the WDG (web design group).
the lite version is good as well, for free!

NO! DON'T!

You'll regret it. Honestly. Once you get to grips with css it makes tables look like a nightmare. I'm only using them for data now and even then, thanx to a push from our great hairy friend, I'm formatting those with css.

I know it's easy to set up a few tables but it's when you need to change them. Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggghhhhh! (© gorilla) :)

<standsup>My name is jaybee and I'm coming to terms with my table habit. I've learned that if I stay away from old and cr*ppy browsers and use tables for presenting data that I get on fine. 'Course now I've got this fixation on banana bread but what the hell ......</standsup>

OK, I admit it. I'm a recovering tableholic. I've got thousands of 'em and some of them are enormous! My councillor says I'm doing really well though as I've actually got as far as removing the borders from one of them!!!!
