Spooky login setup - 5/29/2001 18:42:00   
We are an ISP running NT 4.0 & IIS 4.0. Having problem setting up Spooky login for a customer. We get the folowing diagnostic report:

Read Database Database cannot be read
Verify that the database is in the \fpdb\ folder
The path must be corrected in db_conn.asp, or the database moved.
Write Database Database cannot be written
Verify that the \fpdb\ folder has both read and write access

Connection string
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=D:\Inetsrv\wwwroot\MyCoachNet\fpdb\spooky_login2000.mdb
Database Folder \fpdb\

Confirmed many times that directory has read and write priviledges.

You are running a very early version ado and vbscript version.
Firstly, I would try downloading the access 97 version database (from the readme) and using the ODBC connection, rather than the OLE DB connection

I have it working mostly now with the 97 database and ODBC. I then installed version 2.45 and it still is working. Not sure yet how to log in as Admin and change settings. When I do, it says I am only allowed to view the settings. Thanks for the help.
