Guest	Server error message - 6/6/2001 20:49:00 When I try to publish my site using FP98 I get this message: "Server error: cannot change permissions on file "/usr/home2/ggauld/www/stats/index.html" "ggauld" is my user name with my web server, Wyatt Web. They support FP extensions and I have the Personal Web Server. Any ideas??

Not knowing how you entered the path info makes this a stab in the dark, but from what you wrote it would appear that you put too much detail on your path. Just enter the "www" and leave it at that. FP knows it's way around this stuff and doesn't need the detailed path info. You may not even need the "www" info. Try it both ways.

It also occurs to me that going from "...www/stats/index.html" confuses FP. It's looking for the "index.html" file in the "www" folder. Why the convoluted paths?

BTW, do yourself a favor and upgrade to version 2000, or 2002.
