bradwww Posts: 1 From: Benson, Arizona Status: offline	The web server is busy - 6/11/2001 20:54:00 I run a Windows NT 4 server and I get this error all of the time from Frontpage 2000 running on my Windows NT 4 WS system, are there any ways to get more details about what is causing this error? This never used to happen. I control the server and the workstation - how do I finc out what to fix?? thanks!

This is going to sound just like the post below/above about can not rename but ... Check the following

Oh forgot one...

*0.5: how large is your web? if it's really big break it up into subwebs.

1: increase the cache size in iis's mmc tab server extensions to 1000 or more pages.

2. check the network and see if it's congested, try to publish at off peak times and see if you get the same results.

3. check the server and it's load and see if it's loaded and try to publish at off peak times.

Honestly, I think both of these are more performance issues so A few other things, defrag the server and make sure you keep it nice and tidy. Remove anything that you dont' need on it, etc etc etc.
