have a client that wants to use frontpage for their site.

anyway, i use dreamweaver a lot and dw can insert SSI .txt files into the page while in edit mode

I was wondering if frontpage can do this, cause i can never bring it up or see it.

is there a special way to add ssi to frontpage so i can see it all in edit mode?

Not with SSI.

However if you are planning to publish the site to a server with FP extensions you can use the Include page component which is broadly similar to SSI.

To do this just place your cursor where you want the include, click Insert>Component>Incude Page and browse to the page you want included.
