Momski -> Adobe - AcroRd32.exe error (3/13/2004 11:18:32)

We're selling t-shirts on our website and the t-shirt company e-mailed the order form in .pdf.

I can open the attachment just fine from the e-mail. But when I upload it to our website and open it, I get the AcroRd32.exe error.

Here's the link: http://www.iaapwisconsin.com/Division_Events.htm

Any ideas on how to remedy this?

I'm not sure what the problem might be, but wanted to let you know how it worked for me. In the Opera browser it opened up just fine. But, when I tried with Explorer it gave an error "There was an error processing a page. Invalid restore". Then it gave an acroread32 error and closed the browser. It seems like something is wrong with the document itself.

Hi Momski,

Hmmmm.

Opened fine for me in IE 6 and AOL browser. I did get the error however.

Opened fine for me, with no error message. What version Acrobat do you have on your local machine? I installed version 6 and uninstalled it about two days later. Big resource hog and it would no longer open website pdf's. Went back to version 5

It opened immediately for me. I'm running IE and have A6 Pro installed and AR6 - on PC (not a MAC)

The only thing I can think off is that it wasn't saved to be read by Version 5 of AR.

per my post above yours, works perfectly fine in Acrobat reader 5.

I'm running A6 Pro at home and it works fine - I am running A5.1 at work and it doesn't open.

Interesting......

Elli, I did see that but since you installed and then uninstalled the software might have left V6's reading option available - but these things don't happen so I apologise.
