Logo redo for $35? - 3/15/2004 23:38:11
I have a client who needs a dressier logo but is as short on funds as I am on ideas :)

Take a look at www.unique-idea.com and let me know if you are willing to whip up a logo for $35 from my PayPal account. They want to keep the light bulb idea.

Thanks!

There is still time. I like what Giomanach has done.

For those inquiring about color, size, etc. Simply right click on the existing logo and copy it into your image program. I am looking for the same size and background color.

Thanks!

hello cooper,

would you like to see any of my attempts resized to the proper specs? And what is that font?

How do you post images as the viewable attachement rather than through a web site link?

Are they uploaded directly off of my hard drive?

Thanks

Well that was fun!

After playing with that for a good portion of the day, I just had a unique idea. I'm going over to the pub and enjoy happy hour!

re: upload images
(don't use fast reply) and use embed picture in post - click here to upload and browse to the file on your hard drive (only 1 file)

Thanks!

Way to go David - had I been the client, I too would have chosen that one.

Nice effort from your end too Gio and Mini

It's only $35 US, so in my terms around £25. Pocket Change:) Well Done Dave, I might take more than 30 seconds next time:)

actually it's less than £20! but it's £20 more than you paid for yours ;) nah only joking.
it didn't *take* me that long to do and if you think it's a book or a cd and half then it seems fair enough to me.

as for pocket change - it depends how empty your pockets are!
i must say though that while clients generally think nothing of paying like £40 an hour for plumbers/car mechanics/electricians (who all do good work and deserve it etc) or at least they still pay if they want their heating/electric/car to work, they (clients) are really aghast at paying design rates and would rather try and knock up some half-arsed effort than pay a multi-disciplinary designer/developer their due. I think even teachers are considered as professionals more than web designers ;)

well that's my 2 euros! no offense intened to teachers and trades people. I have many friends who are teachers, and er none that are trades people (well my girlfriend's brother is builder and a darn good one)
