UBB with Frontpage - 6/22/2001 20:39:00
When I save a page in a FrontPage web, I receive the following error message:

Server error: The folder "/" is marked executable. You are not allowed to put files into an executable folder on this server.

My Network Admin emailed me this msg "The problem is that Frontpage must have the website marked as "Script
Only"
which is what it was before, but UBB must have it as "Executable &
Script
Only". We can choose only one or the other.
"

So now im in a dilema.Do i not edit Frontpage live and leave the UBB workin properly or vice versa??

UBB uses PERL right? So chances are your admin has perl setup as an executable and not a script engine. There's a check box when you associated .cgi and .pl to perl that allows you to execute perl scripts without needing both execute and script and just script. This is what you'll probably want your admin to change for you.
