FrontPage causing mail errors?? - 6/23/2001 20:54:00
I am running Windows 98, Office 2000, Outlook 2000, and FrontPage 2000 with a ZoneLabs firewall connected to RoadRunner. It seems every time I say "yes" to ZoneLabs to allow FP access to the internet so I can preview pages, I then start getting email delivery problems in Outlook. Everything works fine as long as I haven't given FP access . . . only way to fix is to do a reboot. This is getting boring! Any suggestions? ------------------ Do you have your own "web identity" yet ?? Visit http://www.CreativeLighthouse.com

Would this work:Ever time the zone alarm window pops up there is an option that says something like: Always allow this program to access the internet. Check this box and see what happens. Also, check the one thta allows frontpage to act as a web server ------------------ Brian---

If I click allow FrontPage to EITHER have access to the Internet OR be a server . . . I start having mail problems. If I DON'T give it access or make it a server, any graphics (i.e. affiliate links etc) that are supplied from the internet show up as "x". Guess I don't win either way! ------------------ Do you have your own "web identity" yet ?? Visit http://www.CreativeLighthouse.com
