hello fellows, I want to ask you for help. I am setting up a page for our football fun club and I am not the one who can make a nice logo (any kind of graphics..to be truthful) but I desperately need one. So maybe someone can come with something? I can't offer any money for this just BIG THANKS and copyright . team's name is "MTZ-RIPO" Minsk and our url is http://www.mtz-ripo.com

this is a newcomer in Belarussian Premier League, Euro Football and there is no colors or mascot defined yet. I am asking for a logo for this team supporters club, something that will catch the eye:) any colors, thanks in advance!

I just added a red one with the player in a slightly different position.

If you like any of those, let me know what size you'd like it in and I'll optimize to that.

I'll try some more ...maybe update that page tomorrow.

that's cool! the red one is very nice and I think white background will make it easier to integrate it into future website??? how about size 100x100 pixels or maybe there is some kind of an official "logo size" I don't know about?

The one on the bottom of the page is 150x120. It weighs 10K.

Just right click on it and save it to your hard drive. If you don't have a graphics package, you can re-size it smaller in Front Page if you are using that. Just remember to resample it after you re-size.

Also save the bigger one in the same wayand use it as you see fit.

Oh, well then since you put it that way, LOL

Here was what I whipped up quickly prior to letting it go in favor of yours. I just don't have the time to make as many renditions as you - so that is why I thought that Trimmer would be better going with one of yours.

However, Trimmer, if you like something like this, then I can change whatever you like within this image - font, color, photos - just let me know [;)]

See. That's what I'm saying. I don't have the creative genes or where-with-all to do that. I might have the software tools, but I don't even know if I have that yet.

What you did is a great banner for a web site...I'm not sure that it's logo. But that's a matter of conjecture. Can you size that to 150x120 and still make it tight? If so, that would be great. Nice job!

Me - so far I'm a one-trick pony on this stuff, but I'm relentless in my pursuit of learning all that I can. And I'm having fun.

Yes, I can recreate it at 150x120... I make all "logos" large; they can be sized to fit [;)]
I think you do fine graphic work... what software do you use?

Until three weeks ago, I never touched a graphics package. Right now I use Real Draw - use it in the sense that I'm making some basic images for what I need to do right now. And I practice with it constantly. Today, I opened PSP 8 for the very first time and tangled my self up for three hours trying just to color tprimms gator.

I should find somebody to do the graphic work for me (and for the clients that I work with), but their needs are simple right now, and I have the luxury of time on my side.

So, as soon as I figure out the graphics packages, then I'll get back to work on my novel. And as soon as I get that done I'll finish my romantic comedy screenplay. Then I'll break out that pottery wheel and start in on that creation.

... well, going that small does not leave room for the fella' on the left, and the "kicker" had to me moved down some as well - but of course, this is only a "rough" logo, and all could be made "crisp" if this was the desired look, yanno...

I think this forum should have a thread for design exercises. Where somebody comes up with specs for a logo or banner or image. And they post that and then those interested have two days to come up with their creation. Not a competition, not for any thing real, but rather a time to blow off some time and go outside the box.

Well, believe me - I would LOVE to play! But my client load, and homeschooling my two kids (Ty is 3, Nikolas is 20mo) on top of "home duties" (you know, laundry, cooking, following children around all day cleaning messes) tends to keep me so occupied, that I barely get enough sleep, much less playtime...

I can hear the violin playing in the background, LOL LOL LOL!

No, I do not feel at all boxed in. Honestly, I prefer to be home - I have never been one that needed to "go out with the girls", or the like.

Don't even need qualifications to teach and help other learn, just look at me, practically a school leaver, and I help people learn, left, right, center, and everywhere else at the same time. But I wasn't home-schooled, no fair[:D]

Perhaps "certified" doesn't mean the same in the US, but in UK lingo most of the teachers I know would be horrified to think that they should be certified.[:D] They probably should be though.
