buttons not downloading - 403 forbidden - 7/8/2001 23:22:00
One of the buttons on the navigation bar is not downloading. In Netscape, when I right click over the place where the gif is supposed to be then select View Image from the popup menu, I get a 403 Forbidden error telling me You don't have permission to access /Home/_derived/events.htm_cmp_pbktheme110_vbtn_a.gif on this server. In FrontPage Explorer, the button appears just fine. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? Thank you.

I would open the live site and do tools > recalculate hyperlinks.

I had tried that. It didn't work. I think the _derived directory is actually there, but the permissions have gotten corrupted somehow. I can't even see the directory when I ftp to the site, but if I try to create it, I get an error. I tried having the extensions reinstalled, but that didn't fix the problem. I am thinking of asking tech support to reset the permissions on the _derived directory in question, but am afraid that will corrupt the extensions. I have also tried removing the page that the graphic links to from the navigation, then putting it back, but that doesn't fix it. The link actually works fine, it's just the graphic that isn't downloading. Here's the url if you want to take a look:
