Can't use http when publishing sute - 3/23/2004 19:13:49
I have been trying to publish a small web site with a form and keep getting msg that my server doesn't have fp extensions & I can't use http. My server (Integrityhost) swears that the extensions are there. We got the site uploaded using ftp. When I view the form, there is a line [FrontPage Save Results Component] on the page and when I submit it I get 405 Method Not Allowed msg with text of "The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /_derived/nortbots.htm." The site in question is www.dansamelrealty.com. My server support says he will delete the existing site & I should republish. If the http: path doesn't work this time, I don't know where to turn. Thanks for any help you can give.
Just went through the delete, try to publish again. Still getting no exetnsions msg, use ftp. Could I have something set wrong on my side? I took out Apache local server.

is the message. "The server you are trying to publish to...."?
Try this: publish to:
http://www.yoururl.com
or
http://www.yoururl.com/
note the trailing slash...
