Server Issues - 7/24/2001 23:01:00
I published a site to my hosting company (Hostek) who has been very helpful to date. The site is www.connect-the-tots.com. Today, I went in and created a third form on my site. When I published the web, the wonderful "FRONT PAGE SAVE RESULTS COMPONENT" message was found on the top of my form (located at http://www.connect-the-tots.com/newsletter_submission_form.htm).

The hosting company "reset my server extentions" and no not only does the form not work, but I can no longer publish to the web! When I click PUBLISH WEB, I get an error message asking me to contact my web adminstrator to verify FP server extentions are installed on the site!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Inexperienced FP hosts struggle.

Somebody thought she/he was reinstalling server extensions (a task that had not hope of solving your problem) and deleted them instead.

The original problem was most likely that your host had not configured the server extensions to recogonize a SMTP mail server.

Your host needs to install your server extensions again, and it needs to configure the extensions properly.

You can refer your host here for more info on that.
