I'm looking for a web host. I found this link to be useful: http://www.hostsearch.com/

Unfortunately, I'm pretty new at this. Can anybody tell me if subwebs can be used to create separate webs on a single web host account, and do web hosts generally allow this? If I create the subweb in FP, can I simply publish it?

Any thoughts on UNIX- vs NT-based web hosts?

Finally, web host recommendations would be appreciated.

What are you calling a sub-web?
A "Web" (which is a site) is http://www.domainname.com
a "sub-web" would be http://www.domainname.com/subweb/

A "Sub-Domain" would be http://subdomain.domainname.com/

Exactly what are you looking for? What do you want to do with your account?
