Lovely!

Crisp, Clear and once you've got the spelling right on the first link it'll be perfect. :)

RE: Overall, what do you think - 4/4/2004 15:27:45
Overall: Needs a few adjustments

[Page]http://www.integrityhome.com/
No need for the image rollover effects. I would just create them as [B]bold text with rollever makes it change color. Have the attributes be no underline, and bold rollever. The blue rollover would be a nice touch.

The right side seems rather large, maybe a little too large for my taste. There is a slight horizonal scroll in the page inside 800x600 resolution.

Remove the right image (the one below the house and below the two adults and baby). Then add a place for text to appear when you rollover a link.

Lets say you rollover the Refinance your home link. You will add text in the particular area that explains what this page is about. Maybe something similar to the xxxxxx.com intro. You put your mouse over Experience, and it draws a line and states a overview of the page.

The black footer at the bottom seems like the height should be reduced. I would also fix the way the footer links are. Make the links for link all states except for hover state, be no underline. Then on hover, there is an underline. I would also center those footer links and make equal space between each link, and each - character.

Lastly, the footer needs to be 100% in width. In 800x600, it looks about 95% width of the page.

[Page]All sub-pages
The header needs to have the correct wording for the particular section.

If you say Learning Center, and goto Education Center, it isn't quite right. Use one phrase, either education center, or learning center.

The links look do not particular seem inviting. They do not stand out at all.
Add a CSS file and make the links on the top named Header, and apply color and effects to those links. Do the same for the left side links as well. They just look plain.

Seems like you have a few pages with a space between two words. I really suggest that you change this around. SEO doesn't work well when the page name is %20.

Lastly, the footer of the sub pages seem to not have the links on it. Not only that, but it is like 6 inches down from the content.

Once you do those changes, and want some more feedback, just let me know and I will look at things in more depth.

Good Start Barry but I miss the attack butterflies.:)

You do not need to make any huge changes just some tweaking.
the links at the bottom of the main page are scrunched over to the left.

Personal preference. Make your fonts consistent. You have some Times and some Arial

Another personal preference ... I prefer to see photos OR clipart on a site not both mixed as they are on the Loan Process page

- I forgot to mention that as well. It is something you should think about changing too. I think photos would look better on this site than the clipart.

Personally, for me, it is not tight enough - too much white space... I would do something like this (taking note that there is not a great deal of content - I had compensate for that) This is my thoughts put into image rather then typing them all here, and of course are no where near exact since I only quickly mocked it up.

http://www.zenfulcreations.com/clients/ofw/integrity.htm

For all of your inside pages, I would stay within the layout that is presented in the front page - do away with all the green...

Instead, where you have nav on the left, put the text in there on white with black around (bordering) and do photos on each of the inner pages, down the right as you have done in the front. Absolutely NO clipart :)

Stay consistant...

I like it better with the people. Sorry, Lori, but the right hand side with the houses at sep. angles and nothing in between makes me feel dizzy or something...

I think maybe if you just make the people and houses a bit smaller, barry, that will help.

LOL on the attack butterflies. A classic.

Hmmm, I never took any people out - I also did not change anything about the houses - they were already at an angle... All I did was put a box around to tighten it up, removed the shadows from the logo and added a line that extended across, then shrunk the bottom nav area, and created a box around and lined up navigation.

Personally, and no offence Barry, but I would not go with ANY houses on the right - in fact I would do the whole thing differently --- I was just trying to offer up some ideas with what was currently in place :)

Okay, well, let me look again. I swear the people were missing. And i thought...WHOA, big hole there. I did't even see one of those little "icon" placeholder thingees (for want of a better term) telling me an image is coming....

I know the houses were at angles already; but the people helped with that. Hmmm. I'll look again and see if they come back. LOL

DUH, don't I feel like a dope.

But it's a big horizontal scroll, (like, 1/4 page worth or so) and I never noticed that. LOL Sorry.

Okay, well, then...I'd like the people in that triangular white space between the two houses.

Actually,

Ya know - I think that you are looking at the original one that he did and not the concept I made for him LOL..

The one I did does not scroll but a small pinch at 1024x768.... but of course it would certianly scroll at anything smaller because it is not HTML - It is an image -- a great big jpg file of what I would do with what he has (without completely changing the whole entire thing).

No I clicked your link, but the scroll will make sense then since I'm at 800x600.
