Publishing with ASP - 8/29/2001 20:49:00
Hi, I just created an Access database and have imported it to a web page. I need to test it to see if it works (can be searched). I do not want to upgrade to a more expensive hosting plan just yet,(to accept ASP pages), but do need to test. Do you know of other ways I can do this? eg came to this forum and noticed PWS. Is this one way to test? If so where do I download (if it is free),how does one use it? Can the server be on the same computer? Any incompatibility with Win 2000 Prof, AOL Thank you Herman

If you have Win2K Pro you DO NOT need PWS....you already have IIS 5.0 If its not installed just add it from the CD. Rian ------------------ "Designing The Future" SR Web Creators http://www.srwebcreators.com "What boots up must come down..."

Just a note, you may have to load the server extensions after you load IIS in order for everything to work properly
