Lisa,

A path statement problem no doubt. The best way to load banner code is: insert>web component>advanced controls>html. Then make sure the banner statement refers to the exact location of the graphic you want to call up. An example:

<a href="http://www.yoursite.com" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="banners/banner_yourimage.gif"
width="468" height="60" alt="Your Site is Dynamite!" Click Here"></a>

Best to post your URL if you want comprehensive help from OutFront Forum Members.

<img border="0" src="HEADER.jpg" width="713" height="165" usemap="#FPMap2">
is this the code for the banner? There could be a couple of problems here...

  • make sure that the name of the file that is on the server is in capital letters, just like the code
  • this image will be found in the root directory of the web, same as index.html. If that's not where it is then you will need to change the name to something like ../HEADER.jpg or ../images/HEADER.jpg
  • If it's just a graphic, you don't need the usemap= #FPMap2 part

Zoom buddy - if you've changed the fonts it sure don't show up.

Anyway, when you type in a url you got to slow down and be more carefull and

finally the url for the header is http://www.atveffects.com/header.jpg small letters not CAPS

BTW: Why not keep all your images in a folder for themselves, it would certainly be a lot easier for you in the long run.

JC, tell me where i had put CAPS so i know what you mean.

i made a whole new header for the page, and there is something i am doing wrong, that is why it wont show up. are there other fonts that dont show up when you view the page?

Zoom, everything is working well now, it seems. Fonts are great and easier to read. Sorry about the CAPS, I guess I misread a post further up.

The head looks good from this end.

I do have a 'auto' site should you wanna have a look - www.classic-rods.com
