vision2000 -> Opinion on header banner (4/10/2004 12:44:21)

Hi,

Please share your opinion if the header banner looks correctly positioned in http://maryland-virginia-homes.com

It's currently centered on the page, however I'm wondering if it is better moving it a tad right aligned with the white space below.

Thanks,
Herman

I would move it to the right.

I think it looks nice the way it is set up right now. But I would suggest you change the dark blue background coloor to be the same color as the teal.

i agree. it should be moved to the right so it is centered with the white below it.

I say the same ---- remvove the pic on the right. Center the pic on the left with the navigation, and the name with the content box.

Funny how people see things differently. I would keep it exactly how it is except lose the picture on the left. However, what was said above would probably look good too. The only thing I wouldn't do is leave it as is.

Also, the long listing of areas served really seems out of place. Would look better on a separate page.

Good luck. Seems to me you have done a nice job.

Thanks very much for all your opinions - I moved the the header to the right but will provide another page (center pic on left with nav, remove right pic) and let the customer choose.

It's amazing how opinions differ so much but it DOES help me see my designs from another perspective (often better than my own).
