Question On Colour scheme - 4/13/2004 7:28:53
I'm going to be setting up a small website for a friend to get her going online with her "Handcrafted cards" biz. Any ideas on what kind of colour scheme should be used for it.

I'm gonna be offering her two options, a plain CSS design, only images being previews of her cards etc, and a fully image design(when Photoshop finally gets droppped through the door)

Fire Away

Dan

What style are her cards? If they're pastel watercolor type, then go with something warm and soft and ...pastel...probably in the green/blue/yellow family. If they're bold, then go with something bright and bold...maybe eye-friendly orange or something.

If she's doing all sorts of cards they're going to be all the colours of the rainbow so you'll need a fairly neutral background.

Take a look at some of Lori's sites. The pastels would work well but you could also go with greys or creams.
