Could be an issue with your cache.

Hold down the shift key and click the refresh button on the top. If that does not work you might want to clear your cookies/temp files/history.

If that still does not work, make a new file on your web server, and then publish it, see if it shows up. Also right clicks your file and make sure that the 'Don't publish' feature is NOT checked.

Your document is completely empty apart from the standard HTML code as follows:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><title></title></head><body></body></html>

That's it.... there's nothing else in it. You must have uploaded an empty page or.... Heaven forbid..... deleted or forgotten to save your index.html page. [:o]

JB, [:-] that is so strange, how can that happen? I re did the page from scratch and when i am in FP and look at the html its all there, when i view it on line and view source i see all of the html. when i publish it goes through the motions, i get all of the little windows but then i a message stating : "server error "private" does not refer to a page or folder on this web. it may be a page or folder in a subweb, or it could be a badly formed URL.". I have a folder called "_private" in it are 2 files called index.html.cnt. HELP

when you go to publish, you should make sure that the "Copy all Files overwriting any on the destination" box is checked. That will only apply in this instance.

You need to look very carefully at what you have in your root directory. If I just go for www.atveffects.com I get a blank page with no source code.

However, If I put www.atveffects.com/index.htm I get a full page with Motorbikes.

This suggests it's looking for a file with a different name. Maybe index.html or, you have another index page in the root directory. Your sign-up info for your host should tell you what the index page should be named and where to put it.
