Hi

I have a web site pubished with Frontpage 2002 using frontpage extensions. I want to paste some HTML code into my home page (using the html tab at the foot of the page) which has been provided by a top list site. Once pasted it should show a voting banner, but all I see when I preview the page is the text I've pasted in[&:].

What am I doing wrong?

This is the code I want to paste

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

If you are copying the code and then pasting it straight in you will notice a whole load of extra characters appearing. It's formatting and it's not good.

Paste it into notepad first which is a plain text editor. Then copy it from there and paste it into your HTML.

I've followed your instructions and the link now works. Only problem I now have is that the image doesn't show. Just the dratted red X.

Any ideas how |i get the banner to show?

It won't show in FP Preview. You need to Preview in Browser or on the web.

And you need to be online. It's getting the pic direct from their site.

OK, the link works fine but......... no pic. It's their problem. Either they've got the link wrong, or they've moved or deleted the pic. Get in touch with them.
