Page Rank increase - 4/24/2004 9:32:16
Hi
We've been gaining links from hundreds of sites but our Page Rank dont seem to be moving up.

How many links do we need to get to move it from a PR 5 to a PR6?

Or will gaining a few links from very high PR sites (7-8) push our PR up quicker?

Thanks

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Gaining links from higher pr sites will deffinetly increase your page rank quicker.

Hi WeightlossWayne,
In my humble opinion, you need more links from other relevent sites. Try that and let us know what happens after you do this.

If just asking about PR relevance does not mean anything. As OldSocks said get sites with higher PR for an easier boost or work on quantity with like or lower PR sites.

If just working the SERPs for an overall higher placement then concentrate on what would be a benefit to your readers (meaning go with Rich@vtws).

Take care,

Brian

Hey WeightlossWayne,

If you can guarantee I'll lose 50 pounds I'll guarantee you top placement on all the SERPS :)
Seriously though, I took a quick glance at your code on the homepage and you've got some work to do but it's not too bad.
