Thumbnails to Larger images ?? - 4/25/2004 21:03:33
On a few of the images on our site I didn't like how small the "auto-thumbnail" made them so what I did was go to an outside image editor, create a small (thumbnail) image and a large image, then went back to FP and inserted the thumbnail, Then, inserted a link to a large image.

This looks like it works in "Preview" but doesn't seem to work on the published pages?

Any input is appreciated ! John

Hi John

My guess would be that the images didn't get saved to your web for some reason and the link is looking for the path to your hard drive. Right click on your hyperlink and check the path to the image file. If it is pointing to the file on your hardrive, try importing the files into your web before linking to them.

File/import/browse to the location of the image files and select one or all. Click ok. Modify your hyperlinks to point to the image files inside your web. It's a good idea to import the images into the images folder for future reference.

Hope this helps.

John,

You can set the size of the thumbnails. In FP 2003, choose Page Options on the Tools drop dwon menu and then click the Auto Thumbnail tab. To specify the size, in the Set box, click the option you want, and then in the Pixels box, type or select the value in pixels.
