colspan and CSS - 5/1/2004 19:13:14
Hi all...

I am learning progess is sometimes made in baby steps (actually a 1 year old taught me that).

colspan....how is it handled with CSS? I have a bunch of colspans in my TD tags in my HTML and I have no idea how to make this a CSS feature.

BTW, I am still using tables. Is that the issue?

Thanks

The colspan goes in your HTML as normal.

<table class="fred">
<tr>
<td colspan="2">
</td>
</tr>
</table>

There's some good info on tables and applying css Here

If only.......:)

I understand that it is possible but it's not cross browser compatible. Stick with what works.

BTW - Baby steps is good. :)
